grant-- i really like what you are doing here-- this is the first time i have seen any of your website stuff, so i dont know if this had been addressed or not... but, had you thought about making the title type (maybe more specifically on the homepage - and/or step pages) reflective of the image? for example, orienting the type to mimic the contour of the side of the chair? just curious... i think something like this would help integrate that type a little more rather than it feeling like a separate element-- ?
